We are pleased to announce NO PRICE RISE following the VAT increase in January
We hope you will find the new web site quicker and easier to navigate. Our apologies to our existing customers used to logging into the old web site. It was not possible to transfer the old login accounts over to the new web site however there is now no need to register to make a purchase.
On the left you will see a list of categories (and sub-categories) to choose from which includes the original USB v1.1, High-speed USB v2.0 and now Super-Speed USB 3.0 as well as Firewire. All items are in stock for immediate shipment, unless clearly stated in the description that they are expected on a certain date.
USB is now the dominant interface for connecting virtually all computer peripherals such as printers, scanners, modems, cameras, external Hard Drives and CD Drives, with the possibility to attach up to 127 devices.
With USB v2.0, devices can be hot-swappable and data transfer speeds up to 480Mbps can be achieved, which exceeds the 400mb available with Firewire. As a result, with USB there is no longer any need to open the computer to add or expand its capabilities, and often very little to configure. Also, with the latest operating systems there is little more to do than plug and go.
